Pupil Premium Funding: 

2015– 2016

In 2015/2016, the school will receive pupil premium funding of £96,760 for the purpose of improving progress and attainment of children in receipt of free school meals, children who are looked after by the authority and services children, to that of their non-funded peers.

Here at St. Wilfrid’s have allocated on:

 

  • Two additional experienced teachers.
  • Year 6 Booster classes.
  • Breakfast club.
  • Rapid reading and phonics.
  • Provision of a % of the Teaching Assistant time in each cohort to support PP children including better reading and literacy circle.
  • Extended school clubs.
  • Achievement for All.
  • Morning readers
  • Family support worker
  • Assertive Grammar tracking and improvement programme.
  • CPD– feedback
  • Teaching and learning responsibility.
  • Educational visits
  • Beanstalk
